We're in our new house. Well the house isn't new, it's actually been around for about 50 years, but it's new to us! WE HAVE SOOO MUCH SPACE!!! At our previous residence, the rockin' apartment, we were unable to put all the kitchen stuff in the kitchen. We had 2 boxes of cookware, mixers, tupperware and other misc. kitchen stuff in the closet of the office/guest room. But now....it all fits with room to spare! That's right, empty shelves! Another great thing about the new house is the master bedroom is ginormous so we're on the prowl for a KING size bed!! Oh my goodness I am pretty excited about this. The new bed will be large enough for us and our furry children. However I wonder if they'll sleep next to us or still continue to sleep on top of us....hmm...?
A downside to the new spacious house is Jeremy now wants a new t.v. A new, huge, needs its own room t.v. Um....yeah. I just don't know about that. It also doesn't help that my own father is giving him tips on ways to trick, weasel, and brown nose his way to obtaining the t.v. Oh goodness.
In other news, I went and saw Twilight last night. The movie was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were many clapping, screaming, sighing, cheering young girls in the crowd, pretty amusing. They cheered when the curtains started going up. And oh my goodness you should've heard them when Edward appeared.....precious.
Well, watching OU, better go focus on it. BEAT TECH!!

*I promise to post pics of the new house.....someday...

So we're moving

For those of you unaware (if anyone even reads this thing) Jeremy and I are moving this weekend. WAIT! Don't panic! We're just moving up to "the city" into my grandparents' house. (I quote "the city" because being from "the city" I think it's funny that people refer to it as "the city") Anyway. Yeah so moving day is Saturday, of course, because that's when the cold front is supposed to move in. We have some great people coming to help us move, willing to give up their Saturday, climb up and down stairs, lift heavy, awkward shaped objects, load them into a truck, drive to "the city" and unload them. Whew! I'm so thankful for my awesome friends and family!

Then Sunday is my mom's celebration. Saturday marks her 15 year anniversary of being breast cancer free!! I'm so happy for her and proud of her. I can't imagine not having had her around these past 15 years. So we're (the fam) is throwing her a little shin-dig that includes Panda Garden (delicious), strawberry cake with strawberry frosting (double delicious), and maybe another event that involves a chick flick.

So crazy busy weekend. Perhaps someday I will post pictures of my awesome happenings. For now...it's off to class.

*Lori- please tell Cameron that I say "WWwwhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt???
